Bangalore (Karnataka) [India], May 19: <\/strong>Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, the world\u2019s leader in beverages, has announced a new partnership with\u00a0Cercle\u00a0X,\u00a0an\u00a0waste<\/a>\u00a0management company in Coimbatore\u00a0<\/a>and a dynamic startup specializing in\u00a0digital\u00a0waste\u00a0management.<\/p>\n

The collaboration marks a signi\ufb01cant step forward in Hindustan CocaCola Beverages’ ongoing efforts to contribute to its World Without Waste initiative.<\/p>\n

The partnership centers around the implementation of Metabin<\/a>, a Wi-Fi-enabled smart bin developed by Cercle X that collects plastic waste and mainly focuses on enabling the brands to be Plastic neutral by implementing a proper plastic waste management <\/a>system.<\/p>\n

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages aims to encourage responsible waste management practices within their campuses, and these smart bins have recently been installed at their corporate of\ufb01ce in Bangalore.<\/p>\n

Cercle X has also introduced an incentive system, using instant cashback and coupons, to further motivate users to use the smart bins for proper disposal of plastic waste.<\/p>\n

In the \ufb01rst phase of this partnership, hundreds of these Metabins will be installed across malls, supermarkets, colleges, cinema theatres, and top food joints across Coimbatore and Bangalore.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, in other phases, hundreds of other Metabins will be placed pan India in other cities, including Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi.<\/p>\n
